Dr. Deborah Erickson has served as dean of the School of Education at ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç since 2013. Prior to her current appointment, she was a full professor and the assistant dean of the Graduate School of Education at California Lutheran University, where she also directed the Educational Leadership program for six years. She has been elected to many state and national positions, serving as president on the California Association of Professors of Educational Administration (CAPEA) and as a member of the executive committee of the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration (NCPEA). She is completing her second appointment to the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing’s Committee on Accreditation (CTC COA) and is a certified reviewer for the Council on Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Erickson’s expertise and scholarship spans several areas of interest: assessment and accreditation, educational leadership, organizational change, instructional leadership, action research, and the principalship.
