Students from the Fermanian School of Business recently had an engaging day at LPL Financial, gaining valuable insights into the corporate world. The visit began with a networking breakfast, where they heard from Ana Reyes, Assistant Vice President of Technology Early Career Talent, and Christian, a cybersecurity professional, along with other LPL team members.
Throughout the day, students attended sessions led by senior leaders, including Casey Furr and Jill Doge, Senior Vice Presidents of Business Transactions and Business Strategy and Growth, respectively, Le's Carrington Senior Vice President of Business Development for Inside Sales, Doug Perry, Vice President of Business Development, and alumni Abby Torry, Nick Brown, and Noel Chapman. They also had the unique opportunity to shadow LPL employees, gaining first hand exposure to roles and responsibilities.
The experience concluded with a private luncheon, where students dined with LPL employees and explored internship and career opportunities. To cap off the day, they received LPL-branded swag bags as a token of appreciation.
