Becky Henzel, M.A.

Adjunct Professor, Criminal Justice, Child Development, & RN to BSN

Becky Henzel joined ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç in 2018 as adjunct faculty in the Child Development Department of the College of Extended Learning. Shortly thereafter, she expanded her adjunct teaching role to include writing instruction in the RN to BSN, Criminal Justice, and BAOL programs. Professor Henzel’s extensive background instructing writing at the post-secondary level allows her the
pleasure of working with students from a variety of backgrounds and across multiple disciplines. She earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in English with an emphasis in Composition, and she holds a California Professional Clear Teaching Credential, also in English. Professor Henzel has worked in the education field for more than 20 years as a teacher and an administrator, almost
exclusively in Christian education. This combination of experiences and training is what drives Professor Henzel’s passion to help students build proficiency and confidence in their own writing, both of which are paramount to academic and professional growth.
