Check my travel calendar!
I'll be visiting high schools and college fair events throughout the fall and spring. Use the "Nearby" feature in the filter settings on our travel calendar to see if I'll be in your area!
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in San Diego! I’ve lived in the state of Washington, but my heart is here!
What did you study in college?
I earned a B.A. in Psychology & Human Development from WSU. I then decided to come back home and complete an M.A. in Education through ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç!
What was your favorite involvement in college and why?
During my undergrad I took part in an outdoor leadership program. Doing so gave me the opportunity to further develop my idea of what it means to lead within a community! Spending a week outdoors on a backpacking trip can really change your perspective.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone looking for their perfect college?
Your heart will lead to your calling. Take it from a student who switched their major at the Junior year mark. If you take the time to really understand what your preferences are you will be able to identify your strengths and lean into them with a lot more ease. Beyond that, enjoying the process is key! Oftentimes we place so much focus on getting from point A to point B, that we lose track of all the fun and excitement that comes with the challenges presented within the journey!
Where’s your favorite spot in San Diego for breakfast/lunch?
Picking a favorite spot is extremely difficult! San Diego is filled with amazing food! For breakfast, my go-to is Hash House A Go Go (Portions!!!). If we are talking about lunch, a burrito from Ortiz’s is a must. As far as burgers, you can not go wrong with Hodad’s and a Frings basket!
