I'm confused about which logo I should use. What’s the best option?
In most cases, the best choice is one of ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç’s three primary marks: Horizontal, Vertical, or Acronym. The Horizontal logo is our most prominent and widely-used mark, making it the most easily recognizable. The Vertical logo should be used if the formatting does not allow for the Horizontal logo to be used. The Acronym logo is best used when dealing with audiences that already have a strong familiarity with ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç.

Can I use the Athletics logo and mark?
In short, if you're not a NCAA sanctioned athletic team or the Athletics Department, then no. This is true even if your event or department works alongside athletics. The Athletics logo and mark are devised to build support and awareness of ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç’s NCAA Division II sports programs. It is NOT to be used in place of the ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç primary logo by academic units or administrative areas of the university that lack a specific Athletics goal or purpose. If marks are used for a specific Athletics goal or purpose, usage must still be pre-approved by ¹ú²ú¾çÂ鶹¾ç Athletics. For more details on using Athletics marks please email plnu_athletics@pointloma.edu
